Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 10, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Synapic AI (the “Service”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our web application. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how services are used. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels used for analytics.

Cookies and technologies we use

Depending on how your organization deploys the Service, we use the following categories:

Strictly necessary

These are required for the Service to function. They include authentication and session cookies managed by our identity provider (Supabase Auth) so you can sign in securely, maintain your session, and access protected areas. You cannot opt out of these without losing the ability to use the Service in a normal browser session.

Analytics and performance

We use product analytics (such as Vercel Analytics) to collect aggregated information about visits, performance, and how features are used. These tools may set cookies or use similar mechanisms to distinguish sessions and measure usage patterns. Data is typically aggregated and used to improve reliability, security, and product experience.

Functional preferences

Where the Service stores UI preferences (for example theme or layout choices) in your browser, we may use cookies or local storage so your choices persist between visits.

Third parties

Some cookies are placed by service providers that help us host and operate the Service (for example Supabase and Vercel). Those providers process data in line with their own policies and our agreements with them. AI features may involve additional providers when you actively use those features; see the Privacy Policy for how content may be processed.

How long cookies last

Session cookies expire when you close your browser (or when the session ends). Persistent cookies and stored preferences remain for a defined period or until you clear them, depending on the cookie and your browser settings.

Your choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings: block or delete cookies, or browse in private mode. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or break parts of the Service. For analytics, where your jurisdiction requires consent, your organization may configure consent tools; if none are presented, analytics may run on the basis of legitimate interest in improving the Service, as permitted by law.

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, law, or how we operate. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date.

Contact

For questions about cookies in the context of your organization's use of the Service, contact your administrator or the contact your organization designates for privacy matters.
